Collection of Verses Pointing to God's Sovereign Election

And you were dead in your transpasses and sins, in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience. Amoung them we too all formaly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest. But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved). Ephesians 2: 1-5

For by grace you have been saved through faith: and that not of yourselves, it is a gift of God. Ephesians 2:8

In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the councel of His will. Ephesians 1:11

Just as He chose us in Him before the foundations of the wolrd, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. Ephesians 1:4

He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. Ephesians 1:5

What if God, although willing to demonstrate His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction? And He did so to make known the riches of His glory upon vessels of mercy, which He prepared beforehand for glory, even us, whom He also called, not from among Jews only, but also from among Gentiles. Romans 9:22

Who will bring a charge against God's elect? Romans 8: 33

For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethen; and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified. Romans 8:29

God, who gives life to the dead and calls into being that which does not exist. Romans 4:17b

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus, by the will of God. Ephesians 1:1

But we should always give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth. 2 Thessalonians 2:13

But since we are of the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet, the hope of salvation. For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, so that whether we are awake or asleep, we will live together with Him. 1 Thessalonians 5: 8-11

So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, bearing with one another and forgiving each other. Colossians 3: 12

When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He (the Father) made you alive together with Him (Jesus), having forgiven us all our transgressions, having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us, and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Colossians 2: 13

For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:13

For the promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God will call to Himself. Acts 2:39

Go, for he is a chosen instrument of Mine, to bear My name before the Gentiles and kings and sons of Israel; for I will show him how much he must suffer for My name's sake. Acts 9:15

God raised Him up on the 3rd day and granted that He become visible, not to all the people, but to witnesses who were chosen beforehand by God. Acts 10:40

When the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord; and as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed. Acts 13:48

Jesus answered them, "I told you and you do not believe; the works that I do in my Father's name, these testify of Me. But you do not believe because you are not of My sheep. My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them." Acts 10:25

For this reason I endure all things for the sake of those who are chosen, so that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus and with it eternal glory. 2 Timothy 2:10
