Robin Hood in Training!

Big A loves her class. She can shoot for a whole hour, usually only the older children and adults last this long. Her teacher says she has excellent form.
We brought another family to try it out. They have 3 children: Sarah, who's turning 6, Josh, who's turning 4 and Zac, who's 18 mos.

The archery class is at a private 5 acre ranch here in Vista. The mom of 5 children runs the afternoon program (along with her kids). She has a playground under the oaks and maple trees where the other children can play. They have many farm animals too! They are a homeschool family and have a Private School Program where they can kept school records for other homeschool families and file records with the government. They also offer music classes and she has a library where you can check out materials. It is a great resource!

They have a really fun swing on a wire rope where the kids ride down from one tree into some tires. This is Sarah on the swing!

The Sistine Table

I think Michelangelo is their favorite Renaissance painter...because, of course, he got to paint on a church ceiling!
"It is hard to get my paints."

"My head hurts."

ITM is just intense.
The central stories of the Sistine Chapel:
1. Separation of Light from Darkness
2. Creation of the Sun, Moom and Plants
3.Separation of Land and Water
4. Creation of Adam
5. Creation of Eve
6. Original Sin and Expulsion from Earthly Paradise
7 and 8. The Sacrifice of Noah and The Deluge
9. Drunkenness of Noah

BooBear's 1st Painting!

Little A was so excited to paint...ahh! to use a brush and water and paints, it doesn't get better than this!
Ian's painting intensity.

Goal: Memorize all 50 States and Location by Summer 2009

Escondido Children's Museum

The "kids" really enjoy this musuem (not really a museum but more of an educational center), so much that we bought annual passes. They have so many learning stations and even an inside tree house!
Ali sending a message up the line to the top of the tree house.

The Murray firemen. ITM wants to go to the academy ASAP and wants Daddy to come too!
